The Adventures of Penny, Mary & Black: Santa Claus

It was Christmas Eve.  The horses were troting around in the snow.  "You know what we should do?" Black asked.

"Yes!" said Penny.

"What?  Plant more grass?" said Mary.

"NO!" said Penny who was getting a little unpatient.

"Then what?" asked Black.

"We should stay up all night then see Santa!" said Penny.  Everyone was quiet.  Black broke the silence, "That sounds awsome!" he exclaimed!

Ummm, thought Mary.  "We can do it!" she said.  So that evening they stole apples and some carrots.  Even oats.

"I hope farmer Jackie dosn't mind" joked Penny.

"Yeh, I hope we didn't leave horse prints all over the house.  That would be realy bad," said worried Black.  "What if Santa dosn't like horses?" he asked with his mouth full.  "I wish we had hands like humans so that we don't have to hold onto these things with our mouth," he said.  They went into there stalls.

"Looks like Jackie put some new hay and water in here for us," said Penny.

"She gave us oats to!" exclaimed Black. "She must know our plan!" said Black.

"I sure do," said Jackie who was coming into the room.

"WHAT?" all the horses said together.

"I found you guys in the house," she said.  "I want to sleep with you and see Santa."

"You do?" they asked.

"Yes, I do," Jackie said again. "I'll go get my sleeping bag."  So she went.

"She's sleeping with us!!" Mary cried!  "I wonder why humans need sleeping bags to sleep?"

Then Jackie came back with a sleeping bag.  She laid it out.  "Ok, what should we do?" she asked as she cralled in.

"Eat! Eat!" shouted Mary.  So they did. When they finish Black asked Penny if she knew when Santa would be here.  She didn't answer.  He looked in her stall.  She was asleep.  He looked at Mary.  She was asleep.  And he looked at Jackie.  She fell asleep.  He looked at himself.  He was finaly asleep.  Santa came and went thinking, they really deserve those presents.  He hoped in his sliegh and yelled "Mary Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho!"

The End
